I am a 77 year old retiree. Today I was examined (blood test & bone marrow biopsy)by an oncologist. He said he suspects "fibrosis". He did not say "Cystic fibrosis". Is it one and the same? Sorry to be so ignorant but this all new to me althought I have had other health problems in the past (Heart by-pass, gall bladder removal). I guess I am "fishing" for answers.
