In response to Ronnie's question about adults being diagnosed with CF. It is common, and people are diagnosed with CF in their 20-60's.
CF is a genetic illness. You are born with the CF gene. No matter what age you are diagnosed, be it one week to 60 years old, you did not develop, catch, or grow the CF gene. It was always there, but your genotype is probably a "milder" form.
