please help. My daughter has been hospitalized 13 times in 18 months. Has had trouble with Diarrhea and throwing up since birth, has been on every formula on the market. Neocate(end of the line) since 5 months. She is on Zantac and propulsid for her stomach. Her lungs are always congested , she has breathing treatments of atrovent, albuterol, cromlyn, and she is on a steroid inhaler. She is usually placed on oral steroids about every 6 weeks. From whaT i HAVE BEEN TOLD HER SWEAT TEST WAS OK AND SO WERE HER IMMUNOGLOBULIN LEVELS. They are calkling it reactive airway disease. I feel like I could pull my hair out at times. When she was younger her bowel movements were yellow white foamy looking from large balls of thick mucous that occasionally had broght red blood in them. She had a nissens fundoplication at nine months and has had no improvement in breathing problems but less hospitalizations for dehydration. We feed her by her G-tube by pump all night hoping to get her to eat better. She has gained with the tube feedings and the addition o polycose. Can anyone help with what to do next? feel free to e-mail me with any similar stories or suggestions.
