: I have a neice with C.F. My daughter is getting married in October and just found out that her fiancee's grandfathers twin had 2 children with C.F.
: How do we go about getting her tested for the gene, how much does it cost and does insurance usually pay for this?
I AM 21 YEARS OLD AND HAVE A 6 MOS. OLD HEALTY CF FREE BABY. I HAVE CYSTIC FIBROSIS AND WAS DIAGNOSED AT 1 MONTH OF AGE. WHEN I FOUND OUT I WAS PREGNANT MY BOYFIREN HAD TO GET TESTED TO SEE IF HE WAS A CARRIER. WE GOT IT DONE AT THE UNIV OF OMAHA MED CENTER.
