My son with cf is 4 years old and doing well. We recently moved and will be seeing a new dr. Our previous dr. had him on keflex (or generic equivalent)antibiotic for maintenance purposes. Our new dr. does not use keflex for maintenance. I have been told studies are inconclusive as to whether there is a benefit to staying on this antibiotic year round vs. using it as needed. Has anyone else had a similar situation or familiar with this?
