My partner has just been diagnosed with CF at 27 years old. It is a shock to us and our main fear is the life expectancy is reduced dramatically.
We knew we could not have children and my partner has had continous chest infections, a bought of pnuemonia and asthma over the past
6 years; we are angry it hasn't been picked up sooner especially as CAVD was picked up 2 years ago.
If anyone could recommend any support groups where we can get reassurance and more info. please let me know.
