Good evening everyone, This is my first time ever to be on this board but I thought that I would let you know that I am thirty one years old and has Cystic Fibrosis. I was diagnosed when I was seven and I did not have my first I.V. treatments until I was in high school. Now, I get I.V.'s done about every three years. The key to living and fighting this disease is to treat as if it is your friend. I see it as a part of me. I do my treatments faithfully everyday and the biggest part that I like to do is having the opportunity to run. I have two more years left of my doctorates and I would like to help the many children that have chronic illnesses. To those of you that are out there that have this, just take it one day at a time and make sure that each day you are happy! That is what counts! Well, goodnight!
