Thank you so very much for your post! Yes, I was expecting pain but not this much! I think the drilling was pretty traumatic to my mouth in general--even the gums in the top front of my mouth are slighly swollen. I am mostly concerned about teh burning sensations in ear/cheek/throat area. I will check with my dentist about the bite and other stuff you suggested.
