I'm in a quandary. I try to maintain my health with homeopathy, and generally avoid doctors and prescriptions. However, I do see my dentist regularly and have always had good teeth. Now, I have a problematic tooth. I tried treating it with homeopathy, and it settled down for five months. My homeopath argues vehemently against root canal; I understand the reasoning. My dentist (a biological dentist who also understands the root canal controversy) has referred me to a respected endodontist, who doesn't seem to be all that personable. I'm intrigued with what I've read on Biocalex, but don't know anyone who uses it, nor does my homeopath seem enthusiastic about it. To make matters worse, I have not been able to tolerate either Amoxicillin or Cleocin.
I'm frightened. I'd rather keep my tooth, but I don't want long-term problems.
Any suggestions? Experience with Biocalex? What about the possibility that it's a gum issue and not a tooth issue?
