The back molar on my upper right (#2, I don't have any wisdom teeth) is broken and my dentist just recommended a crown. I asked about having it pulled, and he said that it is an important tooth for the bone and gum structure as well as chewing, and he thinks it should be fixed. I don't mind coughing up the $600 if it really is an important tooth, but this is my first visit with this dentist so I was just curious if anyone had any opinions. Thanks.
