Could be the start of peridontal disease, even though you don't have bleeding. that's usually the way it gets started. See your dentist and you may want to have a deep cleaning done, since you probably have some plaque buildup below the gumline. Otherwise, if your teeth and gums are healthy, it's possible you may have irritated your gums by brushung too hard, or maybe there is a small particle of food stuck between the teeth and gum.
