Has anyone experienced tooth loss following irradiation for esophageal cancer? My father in law began to lose his teeth within a very few months after completing irradiation. He had followed the physician's suggestions for dental check up and preventive appliance prior to the treatment. Anyone else had similar experience? Please advise.
