Five weeks after apicoectomy surgery I am still having pain. My cheek is still swolen and I am just beginning to be able to smile completely. The surgery was done on molar #14. Can I expect the swelling to continue to go down? And how long will it take for the gum to heal. I have no feeling in the gum at the point of the incision. Any one else have input on this surgery? I am sorry I had it. It has caused me more problems. I will probably have to have the tooth extracted anyway. Help!!
