Could it be that he is scared of the dentist. I suffer from dental phobia and on many occasions I have passed out at the dentists. Its a combination of the atmosphere, the dreaded dentists chair and the injections they tend 2 give. Correct me if I'm wrong, but as far as I know the drugs they give do something to your heart rate therefore with nerves as well it can really muck your system around.
