Hi Cindy , sorry to hear your having so much trouble wth your tooth .It sound like when you went to the DDS for the first visit that he didnt finsh the RCT, which is very common especially for a nolr tooth, it usually takes about 4 visits to complete a RCT on that tooth because it has several roots. What you are experiencing is not uncommon(typical RCT horror stories). There are alot of factors and questions that would need to be addressed as to why your tooth is still giving you problems. If you went to him because you were in pain to begin with then you had what is known as a hot tooth, and that does take a while to heel.Sounds like he is doing what right for you ,opening the tooth and letting the gases drain.Dont have it pulled yet try and hold out a while longer, your to young to start pulling teeth.I would go for a second opinion first some DDS are better then others on RCT treatments eapecially on tooth number 3 or 2 if you have your wisdom teeth. Good luck hope you get to feeling better soon
