: : I have gum disease. I did some research and found that many dentists use Q-10 after a deep cleaning or scaling and that it improves gum condition. Anyone have any reversible success of gum disease using Q-10?
: Hi BJ: After reading your message, I too, was given information on CQ10. My cousin (a doctor) and his father (my Uncle) have done alot of reading re CQ10 and suggested that I do not go through gum surgery. They say that if I take high doses of CQ10 and continuous cleaning on my own, I may cure my gum disease. I need to know if there is bone regeneration and stopping gums from receding. Please advice if possible. Thanks.
I have been fighting what I thought was gum disease for almost 2years. Co Q 10 is good what it does is help with the blood flow which promotes healing. Co q 10 is also helps blood pressure. But back to the gum disease, I had thought according to the dentists I had a terrible problems, but now I am going to a specialists who is going to examine the area in my gums where I am having a problem and clip a root and check to see if the root cana done many years ago is not right. I am a little upset because 2 years ago I just let the dentist do a bone graft in this area and a few years before that he had taken the crown off of that particular rootcanal, cleaned and cemented it. I have a question in my mind if the gume is not healing in that area because a the root canal going bad for years. I will know more after 11-8-00.
