9 months ago I had an apico on a front tooth, due to a very large root canal abcess. Ever since then, the tissues in my mouth have never been the same - I get dry mouth very easily, but sometimes I have excess saliva that is very annoying. The oral surgeon doesn't have any explanation, neither does my dentist. My doctor says it makes sense that a large abcess that caused a lot of infection would mess up the immune system in my mouth. Any thoughts on this - it's very puzzling and frustrating! By the way, I was on 3 rounds of very strong antibiotics before and after the apico. Thank you!
