I visited the dentist 4 days ago to have two fillings and a crown preparation in my upper left set of treeth. All went well apart from moderate pain for the initial six hours after the treatment.
The next day I was free from pain, but then a slight pain in the gum between two teeth has developed. This has got worse until now it is resistant to most pain killers and has kept me awake through the night.
It does not feel like toothache, more like very severe teething pain (it feels like chewing would relieve it) and has a slight throb to it. Any ideas and would it consttute an "emergency" visit to the dentist at the weekend?
Thanks,

Alan
