: I've had 16 root canals. 99% success rate (one needed an apico). The last 3 however, whew! Electrical shocking pain while the root canaled teeth had temp fillings in them. I will take this one at a time so as to not confuse you!
: Tooth 20 was very sensitive to cold. Canaled - no sensitivity. Great. One week later - it was receiving the electric shock feelings so we finished and filled - fine electrical went away. However, I was getting a throbbing (could feel my heartbeat) after I ate and also after a quick change of position (heart rate up - feel it in my teeth).
: The throbbing after eating has subsided. However, I still feel a pounding heartbeat if i move quickly or if I bend over, etc. Any thoughts? 19 is apico and clean while 21 is clean (no cavities even...)
: Thanks.

Hey Bob-
Just from my own horrible experience it sounds as if you have a build up of pressure in your tooth. I had that happen to me too, but the dentist had not completed the root canal so he remedicated the tooth. My sister had the same problem as you and her tooth was cracked. She did not find this out untill she finally found a dentist to pull the tooth. They wanted her to re-treat the tooth. Good thing she didn't, the oral surgeon said the tooth was in horrible condition...
Good luck,
Libby
