Hi Shaelle..

I just wanted to thank you for taking the time out to reply; I was in a pretty anxious state when I wrote the message and you've helped put my mind at ease somewhat.

You are probably right about implants. It wouldn't be wise to get them now when in twenty years time, I'll need them more, and the success rate may have increased etc. The immediate dentures have already been made up - the impression were taken while the teeth were still in my mouth- so I guess I just have to wait until the swelling subsides. My doctor suggested, as you did, to wait another week.

As for the pain, its moderate, though not severe. Having said that, I will see the dentist after the weekend just to make sure everything is okay. I may need one or two fillings there.

Anyway, thank you once again for your help. I really do appreciate it! :)
