Yes, it is normal to get food caught under your bridge. Also plaque and bacteria will form under your bridge too. Floss threaders is what you will have to use to clean under your bridge. Oral B also makes specific floss for cleaning under your bridge, it is called Super Floss, it has a stiff end, a foamy section on the floss and then regular floss towards the other end of it. You can buy this at drug stores, Wal-mart, K-mart, Target, etc. It may also be in your grocery store. Depending on how much space is between your fake tooth and your gum line, there are also other devices you could use, BUT talk to your dentist or dental hygienist about these, because if the space is tight, then floss is your best bet.

: I got 3 unit bridge last week in the lower right side. I noticed that when i eat, sometimes food gets stuk under the fake tooth. It gets really annoying especially that you'd need a threader for that. Is that normal or does my bite need further adjusment? I sometimes feel that the bridge is a little high. Thank you
