Talk to your dentist about what may be best for you. Otherwise, an implant can be very expensive, but so can a bridge, depending on how many teeth will be involved. Implants do have a very good success rate. I have asked many patients and not one said that they were unhappy with it, they were all glad they got it. If you do get an implant and it does happen to fail, for what ever reason, it shouldn't be too hard to get out. B/c if the implant is failing then that would mean that it is not stable within the bone. Talk to the Dr. that does the actual implant to get the specific's, but I think that they are more likely to fail over time than right away, due to lack of home care by the patient.

: I need to have a front tooth pulled. I am concerned as to whether to have an implant or a bridge. All my other teeth are fine. Does anyone have any suggestions. I've heard that implants don't always work. If so, is it hard to get them out. Thanks. Deborah
