Well, you're not really a "non-user" because you used the computer to post a message! (But thank you for your reply, my point is that in terms of internet use for some people--people like me--it's hard to say where normal "using" of the technology stops and "addiction" begins.) Anyway, I can't unplug the computer because I have to use it for other purposes. But I feel a compulsive need to be on the internet a lot rather than attending to other things. I'm not addictive in any other way, that's why I'm surprised to find myself doing this and feeling this way.
