It failed miserably for me. In fact I felt more depressed when I took St. John's. The side effects included GI upset, strange feeling in my brain, feeling incredibly hot during the night which made sleep difficult at best and lethargy/drowsiness. Wish I could be more positive about it. The fact that it isn't regulated also made me nervous.
