There are so many horrible posts on this board and others about the negative
experiences people have with SSRI's.
I just want any prospective users to know that these are NOT typical responses. In general only
the people who are having problems need come here.
I've been taking Celexa for almost a year. I had a few side effects that went away after
2 or 3 weeks. I take it for social anxiety, agoraphobia, panic anxiety disorder,
generalized anxiety disorder, and slight OCD. I can't even begin to describe how
much of a difference it's made for me. I've gone from unable to leave home with
almost constant anxiety, insomnia and panic, to a normally functioning, happy person.
It feels wonderful to have my life back. It feels so great to do what I want to do without
worrying excessively about everything.
I just wanted to share a positive reaction to AD's so that anyone thinking about it
knows that there are really two sides to this issue.
