Yup, you're right as far as no definitive test or treatment. It's not like an ear infection where they look in your ear and go "Yep.. ear infection", and give you some antibiotics. Rest assured that there are answers though. Keep your doctor well informed about all your symptoms and any changes. It's beneficial to keep a log each day... what happened that day.. how you felt, etc. The more info the doc has to go on, the easier it is to zero in on what works best for you. Take it one day at a time, and don't worry about the next one. It'll get here soon enough. (usually in about 24 hrs, unless you live on Mercury in which case they come every 20 minutes or something goofy like... I never bothered to remember that). Oh.. one more thing. Caffeine bad. Caffeine free good. Sleep good! Oh wait.. even one more thing. I just recently heard that eating an apple in the morning is just as effective as a cup of coffee to get rid of the sleepies and start your day out with a bit of energy. Not sure if that works or not, but I don't see any harm in trying it!
Good luck! Keep us posted!
