: Hi Everyone!
: I'm hoping that someone might have some positive experience to share with me. I went on Prozac almost a year ago and it works beautifully. But I have gained 30 pounds, which really isn't acceptable. Then I tried taking nothing at all and that didn't work either. Now I am on Zoloft and am finding that I am very, very tired and very weepy. I have had my thyroid checked (thanks Beth) and everything is ok. Has anyone else had any weight gain problems with SSRI's, and if so, has a switch to another AD helped to reduce the weight. How long should I expect to wait before I see results? Thank you.

No 'good' news from me. I gained 40 lbs. on Paxil, contradicting the 'loss of appetite' I was told I would have, by my doctor and in SKB ad campaigns. I was actually looking forward to some possible weight loss, but the complete opposite happened.
