However many people who gain on these medications later realize that they have been eating more. I found that when I first went on Prozac I was much hungrier and my appetite was definitely bigger. I gained about 20 pounds. I blamed it on the medicine but it was helping me a lot so I decided that was the right thing to do. I started to workout regularly and eat healthier and I began losing weight. I eventually lost all of the weight I had gained, while still taking Prozac.
