I've tried to think "positive, but the reality is that I may just be unattractive. People including women may think I'm "stiff" and/or "square". Women just don't find me as interesting as the other men who try to talk to them. I've never finished in first place.
A guy with one eye can think positive everyday and all day, but most women still won't give him the time of day. No matter how many times he tells himself that "the right one will come along" (to be positive), he's going to have to take anyone that comes his way (assuming he comes across someone who actually likes him).
I don't want to psyche myself out or tell myself lies in order to feel better. How can I feel better if I know that I'm saying positive things to myself in an attempt to psych myself out. I will think positive if a probable outcome is imminent. I will naturally feel negative when a negative outcome is more likely. The only way I will truly overcome negative thought is by having positive results (even when I'm skeptical).
I always likr your post even though I may not agree with everything you say.
