Does depression sometimes cause frightening and strange thoughts that are hard to get rid of? Since I had an episode earlier this year, I was flooded with crazy irrational and sometimes violent thougths and images of me doing terrible things to people, stuff that I had never ever thought of before. I told my therapist about it and she says that everyone has those thoughts from time to time and that yes It could be aggravated by a depression and a feeling of being out of control when anxious or depressed. Does anyone have a similar experience?
