I've been taking Risperidone for about 2 months. I noticed the difference immediately, though. My doctor said that I'd be on it for the rest of my life, though. My hands do that, too. I take a drug to help w/ the side-effects, called Benzatropine, and it helps a little, but before I tood the side-effect drug, I'd bump into stuff... it was sort-of like having no spatial perception... it's weird.
