Personally, I hate BPD. I don't like labels and BPD is so confusing to me that I'd rather have never been diagnosed with it. If I were you, where one place said I was BPD (esp. a hospital) and the other saying I'm not, I'd be pleased. First of all, I hate hospitals and anything that I can find that is wrong about them I lunge at. Secondly, as I mentioned before, I hate having BPD. I think of it as a pathetic way of grouping a bunch of symptoms together. I was told that I had BPD last Dec (or around that mth)...so about a yr ago. I started in a group therapy situation with my psychiatrist and one other girl. My relationship when down hill with her so fast it made my head spin. Knowing I have BPD has only made my life more complicated. Sorry to be so negative about it. If you search the web for BPD you'll probably find a few websites, like BPD Central (or something like that). I don't know the adress, but some of the sites offer support as well as important information for you and friends and family. Hope some of this has helped.
