I have a situation with my girlfriend and I don't know if I am handling it correctly. I love her very much but she's got this weird habit where she eats salty potato chips in an excessive way. Recently the dr. told her she's developing kidney problems due to her eating habits. I am very worried about her developing a kidney failure. I know it takes months, even years to find a donor. That's why I told her not to worry about it as I won't let anything happen to her. I told her that I already gave her my heart when I met her. It just makes sense that now I can give her a kidney. That way we could truly be a part of each other. Anyways, it seems she doesn't think I'm serious about helping her quit and about my offering. What should I do or say?
