Most everthing I read about diabetes receipes are created for gourmets, diabetics with exotic taste buds and people who can spend hours in the kitchen.

Gimme the simple life - I eat only to live and can get along nicely with sandwiches, salads and opening a can of fruit or vegtables. Anyone know of an author who has organized daily food (pyramid) schedules with carb and caloric counts for a person like me? Thanx.
