Yes, I highly recommend that you read "Dr. Bernstein's Diabetes Solution". He is a diabetic MD that treats diabetics and recommends a low-carb diet for both Type I and Type II diabetics. You can also find info on the internet by doing a search for "low carb"or "ketogenic".
