I had the problem about 2 years ago. I had to take some medications namely reglan, hideously bad drowsiness problem with that drug I also took another drug which I can't remeber but it didn't work too well. I went to the accupuncturist and in 2 months my stomach worked again I haven't had trouble since. I would highly recomend going to one since they work by stimulating the nerves and The stomach motility deals with nerves. If you go to the doctor I think there are still only 2 or three drugs and if they don't work thats kind of it. Out of desperation I went to the accupuncterist and thank god it worked. My blood sugars were a mess and I felt like crud for a long time before it went away. The doctors don't seem to offer much outside of the three pills. I also found that coffee seemed to help a little for some of the motility issues.Good luck I hope this helped.
