My husband(age 61) has been rapidly losing weight for at least 3 years. He wouldn't go to the doctor but ate like a horse and also ate sweets constantly and yet still lost weight. Finally about 6 months ago he did go and was diagnosed with typeII diabetes. He is following his diet, taking glucophage, and lipator for colestrol and still losing weight! The doctor seems unconcerned,,but my husband is a tall big framed man and he isn't losing so much in pounds now,but in his body fat and muscle tone,he is practically skin and bone now, still losing weight, and he still feels bad and tired all the time, even though his sugar is under control. He is a diesel mechanic and still working, but it is really hard on him because he has no energy..Can anyone suggest anything? He is down to skin and bone now and still losing...it breaks my hearty to see the guy that has always been my big stong hero this way...Please help if you can...Thanks in advance..
