: If a person is used to taking 10 units of R, what would be the consequences of injecting at least four times that amount?
Well, for starters they would most likely have low blood sugar. This would range from anything from symptoms of weakness, hunger. shaking, fainting, or outright passing out. One observation I have is that an adult who only needs 10u daily would do better on oral meds and diet and exercise. Low blood sugar can be counteracted by eating something with carbohydrates like fruit, fruit juice, and so forth till the insulin wears off.
