: Hi, my mother is a type 2 diabetic and has just switched from oral medication to insulin injections today but she has suffered real bad leg cramps and her feet get really hot. Does anyone know if this is a result of taking insulin, and what can she do about these almost crippling leg cramps? Any advice greatly received!
I also have been having very bad leg cramps, but I am a type I diabetic, My Dr tested for Magnesium levels, and my readings were low, I have to take liquid Magnesium now, it so far isn't working. I had to increase my dosage. Next blood test will be on Nov 7th/00. Does, anyone else have Magnesium Deficiency?
