First off, it takes some people as long as 6 months to settle down to a fairly even Glucose
reading, swings can be common at first. Diet plays an important factor as far as regulating
and evening out the fluctuations. If you watch your carb intake and get a bit of exercise things
will smooth out quicker. When are you taking your readings? What`s your fbg? 2hr after food?
Second, if your not happy with your med team, it`s up to you and only you to find people that
you are comfortable with. It`s your health be proactive. Your journey with the beast will have a lot
fewer pot holes..................Jack
: As newly diagnosed diabetic. I am having trouble controlling my sugar level. I feel very frustrated and concerned, I feel that my nurse just thinks to advise me to either increase or reduse my insulin will resolve the problem. My levels in one day swing from 2.8 Hypo to as much as 18.5. Now I have bad pains in my joints wich I feel could be related to the new insulin I am on. I dare not phone the diabetic nurse, I know he will just disregard it. Can anyone help me. A kind word will do
