I have been reading a lot about symptoms of diabetes and have a few questions. Many symptoms state `exessive' urination, thirst . . . what defines exessive?

I have never been a big drinker of water, but over the last few months have gone from drinking one glass a day (naughty I know) to nearly three litres a day. I find that I feel just as thirsty whether I drink or not! Also I am going to the toilet once every 2 - 3 hours through the day. I always have a dry/`gluey' mouth regardless of how much I drink, and am very tired in the afternoons - sleeping for a couple of hours if I get the chance.

Whaddya think???
