Another good book is "Dr. Bernsteins Diabetes Solution" available at any bookstore or online at Amazon.com (you can read online reviews of the book there also). He is a diabetic and an MD that treats diabetics. He lives and breathes the low carb diet as the way to go if you have insulin or bloodsugar regulation problems. Another good and inexpensive low carb book is "Protein Power" by Dr. Eades. Alan S.
