: Hello I hope anyone can answer this,I'm caring for my 83 year old mom an the last 2 days she is complaining of itching all over but I see nothing there,Its like coming from inside her,,Is itching common in patients with diebetes,?She isn't on any new meds and her sugar is kept undercontrol,Just looking for anything until I can call doc on Monday,Thanks for any help.

I am 56.I feel well.I take 100 mg. of atenolol daily to keep my BP 140/80 .I also take a coated aspirin and a multi vitamin.Mostly I itch when I go to bed and then if I didn't restrain myself I'd scratch my legs and buttock cheeks to shreds.
I feel my legs and 'cheeks'break out into 'hives' but next morning all is normal.Sometimes working in my studio just like a flush,my 'cheeks' break into hives and I really have to fight the urge to go to the washroom to scratch.Any ideas ??
