: I'm a 10th-grade cross country athelete and am thin, 150 lbs, 5'11'. When I was in elementary school : I was a pretty chunky kid. I've been working all summer trying to build a six-pack, and, though : I've gained some visible muscle in my top two sets of abdominal muscles, I cannot rid myself of 'pudge' : on my stomach below that. What I'm wondering is could this be stretched skin from when I was : younger? It's more skin than I'm particularly comfortable with. And, is there : anyway to get rid of it except that of building huge abdominal muscles, which obviously is a difficult : thing to do, not to mention it would be perhaps odd looking. It probably is stretched out skin--but if you keep exercising in time it will tighten up again. I am talking about 1 year or so.
