The refined sugar found added to drinks and foods is not normal sugar. One needs water to drink, and juice is concentrated fruit without the fiber, and is not natural. It is a processed food.
If you have to have it drink just one cup a day, and only juice with no added sugar, and it would not be excessive as long as you are not diabetic or something. Much juice is found to contain molds, as they are from old and rotting fruits.
So it can't be very good for one.
If one ate a combination of fruits and vegetables in their natural state, usually that would equal a normal sugar intake.
