: OK I know this may sound stupid, but Does Muscle weigh more then fat? I have been on a diet and am losing weight steadily. I just started going to the gym and found that I'm no longer losing weight.. I'm staying the same.. People have told me because I'm building my muscles.. Is this true? I'm getting discouraged.. I love the way I feel after I go to the gym even though it is at 4 am haha.. But I want to continue seeing the numbers on my scale go down. Anyone know this answer let me know.. Thanks
This is absolutely true. Muscle does weight more than fat. You should also measure yourself because a lot of times weightloss shows up in inches lost as well as pounds. Good luck.
