: : You might think milk is good for you but you are WRONG! Check out MilkSucks.com for some interesting info. Now that I know that dairy products are bad can anyone please tell me some good sources of calcium that are not dairy related. I thank You all in advance and hope this Milk Info helps.

: I would research a bit further before you jump to conclusions. There are studies linked to animal proteins that cause diseases, but there are diseases linked to nearly every form of food we eat. The Milksucks.com website is ran by animal rights activists, it was a huge story last year, when they came out with the ad slogan "got beer?" While a couple of Doctors endorse their ideas the large mahority of doctors and nutritionist still recommend milk unless it should be eliminated for a specific reason. There is organic milk in stores, usually about a dollar more a gallon. As for no dairy options, there is almond milk, rice milk, and of course soy milk, to name the most common. I drink soy that is calcium fortified, there are many varities, so I would first do my research. Soy is said to have many health benefits such as, enhancing thyroid function and increasing metabolism. Ultimately it is difficult to narrow down all that we should and should not consume. But the one thing I can and do recomend is that you eat as naturally as possible. If you really want to eliminate foods that are a potential hazard, get rid of the proccessed sugars and starches and chemically altered foods. These things do your body the most harm. Remeber in eliminating dairy you would also be eliminating such things as yogurt that have cultures that are good for you. Meal replacements are also a good option. Select brands such as Slimsense, fortify their shake with calcium so all that is needed is water. Plus, it tastes great! Just a thought. Good luck, and I hope you find information that is helpful to you.
