: : I have just ordered Meridia to use to lose 40 lbs.
: : Can someone tell me what they experienced, what your daily routine was and how much you lost in a given period.
: : I am concerned with the iritability it may cause as I have a 4 year old very active child I do not want to effect with a "bad attitude".
: : I am planning on joining a gym three days a week, but don't have alot of endurance. Any suggestions on exercise program? Menus? I am 54 yrs old. 192 lbs. 5'6" Thanx for your help. I would be glad to keep in contact with you on a daily basis for support if you would be interested. Would really help me stay focused.

: Hi, this is the first time I have looked at this board, I think that too many people have the wrong idea, what ever you do to loose weight it has to be along with a life style change to keep it off, there is no magic pill, eat healthy but eat LESS. Stop all sugar intake in any form, drink lots of water, 6 to 8 glasses a day (not tea coff- juices soda etc.)count the calories, and exercise. (house work will burn calories) Some foods you might be allergic to that could also cause problems, find out what they are and don't eat them any more, do some research, read some books, there is no long lasting quick fix that will be good for your body in the long run. Pushing your self away from the table before you over eat is the best exersize you can do.
: (I am 63 183 lbs down from 195+)

While I agree that there is no "magic bullet" for weight loss, I have lost 16 pounds using a dietary supplement, a low fat diet, 1600 calories/day and 80+ ounces of water. I don't have a strict exercise routine and I have done this without removing ALL sugar from my diet. I basically eat a lot of salad, low fat yogurt/cottage cheese, lean meat and veggies. I do enjoy reduced fat cookies from time to time as well.
