I recently got myself a fitness trainer and have been working with her for 2 weeks. I have been working out 4 times a week for months before that but only lost a few pounds. I just want to share with you that the info and the knowledge that I gained from this experience is incredible. She planned my meal, according to what my usual or my favorite meals are. She gave me other choices as well, as long as I was up to 1500 calories a day. My training is 5 times a week on cardio exercises - treadmill (running a mile and walking on incline for another 1 mile - with heart rate up to 140 beats per minute for the full 20 minutes), then I do leg exercises with weights alternating with arm exercises with weights every other day. She also wanted me to do my abs every day and to do another 15 minutes on the treadmill (not as intense as the first one) after the end of my workouts. I was motivated and I was determined to finish the 6 week training period. It cost me $300.00. But I have to tell you that this is only my 2nd week and I am seeing results. My body fat started with 30 percent (normal should be 20-25 and that's lean!). Now, after 2 weeks, my body fat went down to 26, I lost 5lbs. but gained more muscle. I have 4 more weeks to go and I am excited! I lost an inch on my arms, legs, chest, stomach and hips and I am only doing this for 2 weeks! I have to say that this was the best decision for me. I am 25 lbs. overweight and now I work out with my husband and my 12 year old son. We make it a routine, we've changed our whole attitude about food and about fitness in general. I hope that the people that read this message will get inspired and hopefully start some kind of an exercise program. If you have no time to do it, do it early in the morning before everyone gets up, or you can do it late at night when the kids are in bed. Just make time for yourself. You are important and special. Losing weight and getting fit will make everyone feel good about themselves, and they are adding years to their lives. Good luck everyone and have a happy thanksgiving.
