Cut out the carbs (sugar, bread, pasta, rice, potatos, fruit, etc.). But don't quit eating all together or your metabolism will slow way down. And be sure to eat breakfast (eggs, meat, cheese, etc). A low carb diet will initally cause to you to lose excess water (typically 5-10 pounds in the first couple of weeks). Then you lose fat and not muscle since you are eating adequate protein. This typically results in a more noticable loss in inches that pounds on the scale, but this is good. Alan
